Spare a thought for Mila Kunis this morning as the Sun newspaper (I really hate calling it a newspaper) went to town on her. Far from being pictured with no knickers (Anne Hathaway) or snapped kissing someone who isn't her partner - they posted pictures of her with no make-up on.
This isn't a new or particularly good form of Journalism but it is however something the tabloids LOVE. It really bothered me the gleeful tone the Sun took while describing her face as 'puffy' and talking about how she WAS voted sexiest woman or something recently. The gleeful - now-look-at-her tone was evident and really off putting.
Yes it is nice that celebrities can be viewed as human from time to time but it is mainly women who suffer these forms of attack. Men are rarely spoken about in such ways. Good on Mila Kunis for not wearing any make-up but shame on the Sun for being such dogs about it.
Oh and they also had a dig at her wearing a tracksuit as well. Everyone has comfy pants days. I sometimes like to walk around in harem pants just for comfort! Judge not lest ye be photographed wearing your fat pants....
