POPE FRANCIS JOINS INSTAGRAM

Pope Francis on Saturday, 19th March joined Instagram under the name @franciscus. Within 24 hours Pope Francis had garnered over 1.2 million followers and counting.
Pope Francis' first post shows him kneeling down and he captioned the photo, "Pray for me" which was repeated in eight languages.

Pope Francis who has about 9 million followers on Twitter had written,

"Iam beginning a new journey on Instagram, to walk with you along the path of mercy and tenderness of God", Pope Francis wrote on Saturday on Twitter.

Its an awesome feeling to see the Pope on Instagram.
